Schedule and limits

Open and close a form on set dates, cap responses, and stop repeat answers.

Find these under Schedule & limits on the form's Publish tab. They apply to the live form straight away.

Open and close on set dates

Turn on Open and close on set dates and pick an open date, a close date, or both. Before it opens the form shows as Scheduled and visitors see when it opens; after it closes it shows as Closed and visitors see that it has closed. Times are in your workspace's time zone, shown under the dates. Owners and admins can change it on General in the sidebar; changing it doesn't move dates you've already set, only how they're shown.

Stop after a number of responses

Turn on Stop after a number of responses and enter a number. A bar underneath shows how many responses the form has so far. At 80% of the limit it tells you how many are left, and everyone who can publish forms gets a notice in the bell; they get another when the form fills up. When it's reached the form closes and visitors see that it has all the responses it needs. Raise the limit to reopen it. Your plan's monthly response allowance also applies — see Billing.

One response per person

Refuses a second response from the same browser, or — if the form asks for an email address — from the same email. It's a deterrent rather than a guarantee: someone determined can use another browser and another address.

Let people save and finish later

Keeps a visitor's unfinished answers in their own browser and restores them when they come back on the same device. Nothing is stored on OurForms until they submit, and files and signatures aren't kept.
