Display modes and pages
Show every question at once, one per screen, or split the form into pages.
Pick a mode from Display at the top of the Build tab.
All on one page
Every question on a single card with one Submit button at the end. Best for short forms.
One per screen
One question at a time in a large, focused style, with a progress bar and "N of M". Visitors press OK ✓ or Enter to continue and ↑ Back to go back. Picking an answer in a multiple choice, dropdown or rating question moves on automatically.
Multi-page
Questions grouped into pages, with the page titles shown as steps on the left (✓ when done). Visitors move with Back, Continue and Submit.
To build pages:
- Choose Multi-page.
- Name the first page at the top of the outline.
- Press + Add page, or add a Page break item, and give it a title — everything after it is on the new page.
- To move a question to another page, drag it past a page break, or pick a page from Page in the inspector.
Page breaks are kept when you switch to another mode, so you can switch back without losing your pages.
Saving progress
If you turn on Let people save and finish later (on the Publish tab), visitors' unfinished answers are kept in their browser and restored when they come back on the same device. Files and signatures aren't kept.
